If you are like 90% of the guys out there and are sitting there a few days prior to the day, trying to figure out what to get her, this is it. Don't get me wrong, this is not just a good last minute purchase, the great quality, first class packaging and significantly less than first class price makes this gift perfect for just about any occasion. I have purchased much more expensive jewelry in the past and I have to say that this stands up to just about anything in regards to its quality and brilliance. The actual stone is very clear and free of flaws and sparkles brilliantly when light dances upon it. I opted for the 14k white gold setting and chain, and I have to tell you that it looks amazing. I cannot speak for the yellow gold but this white gold really goes well with the stones. The free 18" 14k gold chain is a huge plus because first of all it looks great and it saves you the hassle of having to pick one out on your own which can be a bit of a pain online trying to find a chain that fits the pendant perfectly.
The three diamonds set resting on top of the sapphire heart adds a real nice touch and transition from the sapphire to the rest of the set very nicely. Each of the three diamonds is every bit as clear as a stone twice the price. They are perfect size for this set as they are not so small where the setting covers up the majority of it and not too big to overwhelm and draw the attention away from the main stone.
As if the necklace wasn't good enough, the quality and detail in the packaging is truly top notch and makes this piece look 100 times its value. To start off it comes with a free gift card which you can fill out to customize for the occasion. The necklace comes inside of a royal blue box wrapped with a white bow but first to get to the box you must remove it from th velvet bag. Lift the top of the box off and you expose the royal blue "treasure chest" which opens like any hinged jewelry box. Inside is lined with white fabric and resting there is the necklace. All of this packaging adds to her anticipation as she gets closer and closer to seeing what it is and I have to tell you even I was excited to see it even though I knew what it was but the best part truly was seeing her face when she saw it for the first time!
You may be wondering about the color and whether she likes pink or not. If you know she without a doubt loves another color then go for a different color but the pink just seemed to go well together with the heart shaped sapphire and even though she didn't have too much pink anything, she really liked this.
This is really a great gift for any number of occasions, whether it is for Christmas, a birthday, an anniversary, Valentine's Day or just something to randomly give to show her how you feel!The price is set at a very affordable level, especially considering what you are getting. I have heard in the past that people don't want to purchase jewelry in the $200-$300 price range because it is in that category where it might not seem expensive enough to be a great gift. People automatically assume that for jewelry the more you spend the better something will be. I have to tell you if you are considering on spending more reconsider. When I showed this to others they all thought it was at least 2-3 times more expensive, that's how nice this looks. I have spent much more on similar items in the past and I can tell you that I honestly see no difference in the actual product, just the fact that it does not say Tiffany or Cartier on it.I myself have not told anyone how much it was because it adds to the mystique of the gift and makes it seem that much more special, not that price should matter!
